We often get the question ‘What’s the difference between regular Post-it Notes and Super Sticky Post-it notes?’. The answer is really, really obvious. We wonder why anybody even asks. Table tents are not to be used on your next camping expedition — unless your expedition takes you to a restaurant and you have merchandise to sell. In that case, they would be a great supply to have with you.

Table tents are those curious little 2- or 3-sided advertisements you find keeping the salt and pepper shakers company on the tables of many restaurants. They tell you about the great drink specials or the triple chocolate dessert that will make all other desserts obsolete.

In his book “Why We Buy”, Paco Underhill states that table tents are read 25% of the time in fast food restaurants. That makes for a great read-rate for an advertisement. Underhill also suggests that you place the advertisements in a location where customers have idle time. Wherever your “to-go” customers hang out before they get their food is probably a good spot. Another good spot is in the area where people wait to be seated.
